Blues Parlour is a Barrie, Ontario based blues band.

The band first started playing in the City of Barrie in 1996, founded by lead singer/guitarist Mike Battram and guitarist Hugh Hardy.

Although Mike and Hugh have been constants since the band’s inception, past (and some current) members have included: Bruce Campbell, Kene Hyatt, the late (great) John Shand aka: Dalton Scubbs, Ian Black, Joe Huron, and Gordie Emms.

Since its inception, Blues Parlour has worked the local bar scene as well as numerous jazz and blues festivals in the Barrie and Orillia area.

In addition to their original songs, Blues Parlour presents and eclectic mix of covers from artists such as Eric Clapton, Elmore James, ZZ Top, Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett and Stevie Ray Vaughan—all with an edgy blues style that the band is known for.

Our site is in the works, so please check back regularly—but in the meantime, check out the videos on the right.
